Goal: "hey siri, open the blinds"
I started with a very simple CAD & electronics setup that was simple and bulletproof.

I programmed it by spinning the blinds forward and backward to find the limits. Then I used HomeSpan so it could easily connect to my Wi-Fi and Apple Home.
I also ended up doing some cool automations like waking me up at sunrise. I will definitely install these wherever I move to in the future!
