I met the team shortly after we wound Autoprint down.
It was a really exciting product, and I understood the value-add from the robotics standpoint. good data == good robot
Notable things:
- helped incorporate the company
- helped file provisional patent (actually is a real one now)
- semi-finalist at pitch competition
- demoed at connect in petco park
- accepted into the best startup accelerator in san diego, EvoNexus
Also a lot of fun, a highlight was going to the ROV Mate world championship in Torrance.
I ended up stepping down to pursue engineering at UCSD, which was the right decision.
